Delete your account and data — Zenary Sudoku

Zenary Sudoku is published by Cosmo Srls. This page explains the two ways to have your account and associated data deleted, what is erased and what is kept.

Option 1 — inside the app, in ten seconds

Open Zenary Sudoku.
Go to Settings.
Scroll to Your data.
Tap Delete my data.
Confirm twice: the app warns you that the action cannot be undone.

Option 2 — by email

Write to comida.giampaolo@gmail.com with the subject Zenary Sudoku account deletion. Include your friend code (shown on the Friends screen) or the email address linked to the profile, so we can identify the right one. We reply within thirty days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

your game results and every leaderboard entry;
battle results and the quick-match queue;
friendships, incoming and outgoing requests, blocks;
your email address, if linked, and the cryptographic hash of your password;
push notification tokens and preferences;
nickname, avatar, country and friend code are cleared: the profile disappears from leaderboards and from other players' view;
all open sessions expire, on every device;
local data on the phone: saved games, statistics, preferences.

What is kept, and for how long

One empty technical row, flagged as deleted, with no nickname, email or results. Its only purpose is to stop that identifier being reassigned to someone else. It holds no information about you.
Database backups, taken once a night. Deleted data disappears from the live database immediately — and therefore from leaderboards and from everyone's view — but may remain inside backups already taken, which nobody reads and which are deleted automatically within two weeks.
Aggregate per-puzzle statistics (how many people solved a given puzzle, and how fast). These contain no user identifier and cannot be traced back to you.
Emails you sent us, for as long as needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months.

Want to clear data but keep the profile? You can unlink the email, or change your nickname and avatar, from Settings → Profile, without deleting anything.
